✦ ❖ Resinvear Lore

In the formless void, beyond the grasp of time, only whispers of desires drifted through the endless expanse—

Thoughts, emotions, and feelings of all beings slowly intertwined, forming a boundless force known as “Nozomi.”

From that power… Resinvear was born.

This was not a world crafted by gods, nor was it shaped from dust and stone. Instead, it was a world that reflected the hearts of all living beings.

Every radiant hope— and every sinking despair— wove together to create the land itself.

The Era of Light and Shadow

In the beginning, Resinvear was a wondrous realm, a pure reflection of the hopes and dreams of those who existed. Every corner gleamed with the brilliance of untainted emotions…

And from this world, the first beings emerged— “Chesen.”

The Chesen were creatures that sustained themselves by “devouring” negative emotions—

They thrived by sowing fear and suffering into the hearts of those filled with hope. When their prey sank into utter despair, the Chesen consumed those emotions, leaving behind only hollow shells of what once were vibrant souls.

…But among them, there was one Chesen that rejected this cruel existence.

Rather than feasting on despair, it chose to consume only positive emotions.

And because of that choice…It changed.

It became something entirely new— an entity that no longer preyed on sorrow, but instead protected and nurtured hope.

Thus, it became the first OlyaPaw

OlyaPaw longed for an ideal world— a world of eternal peace and radiant light.

However…

❝ A world of absolute peace does not exist. ❞

A world cannot sustain itself on hope alone, just as despair alone cannot nurture life.

And so, as the hearts of living beings began to change… “shadows” started to form—

Sorrow, rage, resentment—

These emotions coalesced into a force of darkness called “Zankoku.”

It began to seep into the minds of the people, twisting their hope into despair,

ripping away the beautiful memories they once held dear.

Even the Chesen and OlyaPaw were not immune.

And so, the once radiant world of Resinvear began to collapse.

Kamiguri and Faehu

Yet, even in the face of destruction, the whispers of hope did not fade.

There were still those who believed the world could be saved…

And from “unwavering faith,” a new race was born…  [ Kamiguri ] Born from the desire to cleanse and protect, the Kamiguri wielded the power to purify the cursed essence of Zankoku.

They also held the ability to open gateways to other realms.

As Resinvear teetered on the brink of destruction, the Kamiguri led the last remaining OlyaPaw and Chesen on a desperate journey—

to seek refuge in the human world.

However, their existence was unlike that of humans…They did not fully “belong” in the human realm, but instead existed as “something layered upon it.”

Humans “could not see them” unless their minds resonated with the energy of Resinvear, perceiving them as nothing more than spirits or phantoms.

Time passed— and as Resinvear slowly began to recover,

the presence of Kamiguri became known to certain humans.

People began to believe that the Kamiguri were “gods.”

They started to worship them, offering prayers in exchange for protection.

And thus, the faith of humanity became fuel for Nozomi,

strengthening the Kamiguri in return.

The Meeting of Light and Shadow

While the Kamiguri flourished in the human world,

strange occurrences began to unfold in certain towns.

Flames igniting on their own, without any source? Objects shattering for no apparent reason?

These events were caused by “a swarm of countless butterflies spirits” consumed by Zankoku.

They had transformed into entities known as Un’en …and now, they ran rampant in the human world.

As humans fell into despair, they turned to the Kamiguri for aid, praying for deliverance from these vengeful spirits.

And so, a single Kamiguri took up the call to drive the Un’en away  But… it was stronger than expected.

 [ Hurts… Don’t…@% …do this…#to me… ]

 [ I just@%€ …want to$& live… ]

The Kamiguri had never before understood the suffering of Un’en  But when it heard that voice—

…Something stirred within its heart …Was it pity?

Rather than destroying the Un’en,it chose to comfort it.

It reached out with kindness, gently purifying the Un’en with compassion rather than force.  And in its final moments, the Kamiguri saw something in the Un’en’s fading form

A glimpse of hope …Nozomi answered the call

and granted the Un’en’s deepest wish.

Thus, the first Faehu was born.

Faehu: The Ones Who Rose From the Dark

The Faehu were not a pure race.

They were those who had once fallen into the abyss… and climbed their way back out.

Because they were born from Un’en, they understood pain better than anyone else.

They possessed the unique ability to sense and delve into the emotions and memories of others.

And because of that—

Kamiguri and Faehu became dependent on each other.

— The Faehu could perceive the hidden burdens of humanity.

— The Kamiguri could help fulfill those desires— at least, in part.

When Resinvear was finally restored to balance,

the two races returned to their homeland once more.

Though the Un’en could never truly be eradicated…

They could, at the very least, be kept in check.

For in the end…

“Light and shadow must always coexist.”

Species: Kamiguri, Faehu, OlyaPaw (Ancient), Chasen (Ancient)

Ancient Species: OlyaPaw and Chasen are remnants of a bygone era, the last survivors of Resinvear’s collapse. Their numbers are scarce, and in the present day, they can no longer reproduce or expand their population.

  Mind Domain

Every Faehu and Kamikuri possesses a Mind Domain, a space that reflects their essence.

At the core of each domain lies the Heart of the Land—a symbolic object or a deeply held memory that anchors the domain’s existence. If this heart is destroyed, the domain will begin to crumble. However, it can regenerate or even change form based on the emotions and state of mind of its owner.

At times, people may unknowingly wander into unfamiliar places—domains shaped entirely by the desires and emotions of their Kamikuri or Faehu host.
